Lickstein Plastic Surgery was founded by Dr. David Lickstein with the mission of combining meticulous surgical skill with compassionate, personalized care. Dr. Lickstein along with Dr. Craig Forleiter, and their team of medical aesthetic professionals, are devoted to helping patients look and feel their best. We achieve natural-looking results by building upon each patient’s existing beauty in order to enhance, rather than radically change, their appearance. When it comes to reconstruction, Dr. Lickstein is one of the few surgeons in Florida with extensive experience with state of the art single-stage implant reconstruction after mastectomy, having performed the procedure since 2007.
After completion of world-renowned medical training at Northwestern University, Albany Medical College, and Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Lickstein was delighted to return home to South Florida. Here, his surgical expertise and deep commitment to community involvement have helped him develop one of Palm Beach County’s premier full range aesthetic and reconstructive practices serving Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Port. Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Craig Forleiter received medical training at prestigious institutions, including George Washington University School of Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital, and Cleveland Clinic Florida, where he completed a plastic surgery fellowship. Christina Hobgood Naugle has been a certified and licensed Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant since 2008. As a Palm Beach county native, Christina was excited to return to her hometown and join Dr. Lickstein’s practice after working in Charleston, SC for 5 years. Christina has an extensive surgical background that informs her deep knowledge and understanding of the most natural-looking and best surgical and non-surgical cosmetic options. Christina has worked with Dr. Lickstein to assist in refining the “Lickstein Lift”. She also provides patients with a yearly plan to achieve their aesthetic goals with a focus on the patient’s desire to remain non-surgical or plan towards the best timing for surgical intervention. Christina is highly experienced and prides herself on natural-looking results. She has been named one of the “Top 100 Best Aesthetic Injectors in America” three years in a row, nominated in Real Self as a “Most Loved Injector”, and is on the faculty at the Allergan Medical Institute. Christina is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants.
Shayna is a board certified and licensed Physician Assistant who is passionate about cosmetic treatments and achieving optimal surgical outcomes for every patient. She began her career in 2014, working as a medical assistant for Lickstein Plastic Surgery before returning to school to further her education. Shayna earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Central Florida and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Charleston with a focus on skin health and suturing. She offers an array of customized non-surgical enhancements, such as Botox, Dysport, Kybella, dermal fillers and laser treatments. Shayna prides herself on delivering exceptional patient care while combining artistry and science in order to achieve beautiful injectable results. After expanding her clinical career to Michigan, Shayna is excited to be reunited with the team at Lickstein Plastic Surgery.
Leah Verdream is a board certified and licensed Physician Assistant with over a decade of clinical experience. While Leah has extensive experience with both medical and surgical patients, her focus is aesthetic rejuvenation. Leah’s warm and attentive manner puts her patients at ease. Her superior assessment skills ensure all her patients are provided with a customized treatment plan that addresses their individual rejuvenation goals. Her collaborative nature and team approach ensure these plans incorporate the expertise of her colleagues here at Lickstein Plastic Surgery.
Leah has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of Central Florida and a Masters of Medical Science from Nova Southeastern University. She has attended expert injector trainings from the Allergan Medical Institute and has been trained on both aesthetic injection and laser treatments by our own Top 100 Aesthetic Injector, Christina Hobgood-Naugle, PA-C.
Leah holds leadership positions at Palm Beach Gardens and Good Samaritan Medical Centers, and volunteers for multiple healthcare organizations in our community, including Susan G. Komen and the Florida Rural Mission for Health. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Katia is a board certified and licensed Physician Assistant who is passionate about achieving optimal surgical outcomes for every patient. She began to work at Lickstein Plastic Surgery in 2017 as a medical assistant before returning to school to further her career. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies at Miami Dade College and her Master’s of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from St. Francis University in 2020.
Katia wanted to continue her focus in aesthetics, beginning her career as a PA in aesthetic injectables, non-invasive treatments and women’s wellness. She has been trained in aesthetic injection treatments by our own Top 100 Aesthetic Injector, Christina Hobgood-Naugle, PA-C.
Katia then rejoined the Lickstein Plastic Surgery team in 2023 to advance her career to include cosmetic and reconstructive surgical treatments. As a cancer survivor herself, Katia takes special pride in treating reconstructive patients. Katia is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and NCCPA.
