Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy (CIT), is a non-surgical skin treatment that is clinically proven to stimulate collagen production.¹ Microneedling works by creating tiny micro-injuries that trigger the body’s natural healing process. During your consultation appointment at one of our Palm Beach Gardens or Port St. Lucie offices, we will discuss your aesthetic goals and assess your skin. If Vivace is right for you, we will develop your personalized treatment plan. At the beginning of your Vivace microneedling treatment, your skin will be cleansed and coated in a specialized numbing cream. The Vivace microneedles are adjustable to a wide range of depths and we will set the device to a level customized for your needs. The device will be applied to your skin and moved in intervals to cover the treatment area. Once your microneedling is complete, a post-treatment mask and serum will be will be applied to optimize your results. Treatment sessions typically last less than an hour. Recovery is quick and easy and you can resume regular activities after treatment, although you may want to avoid strenuous exercise for the rest of the day.
