PRX-T33 (Derm Perfexion)

Some providers call PRX-T33 a biorevitalization peel, but it is not like any chemical peel you’ve ever encountered. Unlike other peels, PRX-T33 does not cause flaking and does not require significant downtime. That may be why some people called it the “unicorn facial”.

PRX-T33 contains a unique combination of active ingredients, including hydrogen peroxide, kojic acid, and trichloroacetic acid (TCA). This bio-stimulation formula targets the deeper layers of the skin without damaging the upper dermis—for visible results without uncomfortable side effects.

When applied to the skin, the solution stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for healthy, youthful-looking skin. By boosting collagen and elastin, PRX-T33 helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging. It also helps to improve skin texture and tone, making the skin look brighter and more youthful.

• Before PRX-T33 Treatment: There is minimal prep required before your TCA peel. PRX-T33 is appropriate for a wide range of skin types, but if you are unsure if it is right for you, you can schedule a consultation with one of our experienced providers to get answers to any questions and learn more about your options.
• During PRX-T33 Treatment: Your provider will cleanse your skin and apply the PRX-T33 formula. You will relax for about 30 minutes while the treatment works to revitalize your skin.
• After PRX-T33 Treatment: After removing the PRX-T33 formula, your provider will apply a special moisturizing product to your skin. If you have sensitive skin, you may experience mild redness, itching, or tenderness for a day or two after treatment. However, any flaking should be very minor and you can resume regular activities right away. Another benefit of PRX-T33 is that it is not photosensitizing—meaning that it does not cause increased sun sensitivity like many chemical peels (although we always recommend a good sunscreen as part of a daily regimen.)

PRX-T33 Results

Some PRX-T33 results are immediately noticeable—you should see tighter, smoother skin right after your first treatment. Additional results, including smaller pores, improved elasticity, and diminished hyperpigmentation will be visible in the days after treatment. If you are seeking a solution for stubborn acne scars or stretch marks, or if you want comprehensive rejuvenation, we typically recommend several PRX-T33 treatments spaced one to two weeks apart.
