The Cosmetic Surgery Experience

at Lickstein Plastic Surgery

The cosmetic surgery experience at Lickstein Plastic Surgery is an individualized experience built to meet every need, from consultation through recovery. Consultations usually last at least 60 minutes, and pre-op visits run a full hour. A dedicated coordinator stays with each patient through surgery.

Cosmetic surgery is more than one day in the operating room. It is weeks of decisions, preparation, and healing. At Lickstein Plastic Surgery in Palm Beach Gardens, our team is with you through all of it.

Patients from Jupiter and beyond work with Board Certified Plastic Surgeons Dr. Lickstein and Dr. Forleiter. Every detail is handled before it becomes a question. You will never have to figure out the next step alone.

What Happens at Your Consultation?

Your consultation takes as long as it needs to, usually at least 60 minutes. During this meeting, your surgeon listens to what bothers you and what you hope to see. Together, you talk through your options, what recovery will look like for you, and which results are realistic. Patients often tell us they leave more informed than at any consultation they have had elsewhere.

Many patients arrive nervous or unsure what to ask. Our office is welcoming and relaxed, and no question is too small. There is never pressure to decide on the spot.

If an office visit is hard to fit in, telehealth consultations are available. Patients from as far away as Vero Beach have started this way instead of making the drive.

Traveling From Out of Town

Palm Beach Gardens is a destination area, and our practice regularly cares for patients who travel here for surgery. Many begin with a telehealth consultation, so the first conversation happens before any travel plans are made.

From there, your coordinator helps you schedule in-person visits around your trip. Because your plan is reviewed in detail ahead of time, you arrive knowing what to expect. Nothing is left to sort out once you get here.

A Plan Built Around Your History

Much of our work involves complex revision surgery, including breast revision surgery, facelifts and mommy makeovers. Patients often come to us after a prior procedure did not meet their expectations. Before recommending anything, we take the time to understand your surgical history and what concerns you most.

No two patients are the same, so no two plans are the same. Your plan is designed around your specific concerns, with a natural, undetectable result as the goal.

Your Cosmetic Coordinator

Every patient works with a dedicated cosmetic coordinator from consultation through surgery. Your coordinator is the person you call with questions, scheduling needs, or anything that comes up along the way.

The day before surgery, your coordinator calls to go through everything with you one more time. The relationship often lasts well beyond surgery day. Many patients keep reaching out to their coordinator afterward because of the rapport they build.

How Do You Prepare for Surgery?

Your pre-op visit is a full hour. Your surgeon walks you through your surgical plan step by step and answers every remaining question in advance. You also leave with a bag containing all the products you will need before and after surgery.

Through Surgery and Recovery

Our practice was founded on transparency, safety, and integrity. From your first call through your recovery, you should feel supported, well informed, and without surprises. Our team is with you through healing, and your coordinator remains a familiar voice.
